Jane Young – North East Victoria, Australia
Jane Young is a self-motivated and determined professional with 20 years of experience in the public sector working in natural resource management and agricultural extension in rural and regional areas of NSW and Victoria. Jane is passionate about supporting professional women in regional areas and encouraging women to understand their value and the opportunities available to them.
Jane is currently an Executive Manager at the North East Catchment Management Authority, a statutory authority that works to maintain land productivity whilst protecting the catchments natural assets. Her experience includes working in regional state government organisations in the Hunter Valley, Central West NSW and now North East Victoria.
She recently stepped out of her comfort zone to take on the challenge of acting CEO for 3 months whilst her boss has been on extended sick leave.
Originally from Sydney, Jane is a mother of three boys, loves dancing and listening to live music and keeping fit living and working in beautiful North East Victoria.
